What is Womens' Health Clinic?

A women’s health clinic built for you—expert care through perimenopause, menopause, and beyond

Hi, I’m Dr Ella Aston, a General Practitioner with a special interest in women’s health, perimenopause, menopause, and ADHD in adult women.

I’ve worked across both the UK and Australia, and I’m passionate about providing evidence-based, personalised healthcare that supports the whole person.

My focus is on helping women feel empowered, not overwhelmed — especially when navigating the often complex intersections of hormonal health and neurodiversity. Many women go years without an accurate diagnosis of ADHD, particularly during perimenopause when symptoms may shift or worsen.

My goal is to help you understand how ADHD shows up in your life, and to offer support that’s thoughtful, hormone-aware, and tailored to your needs.

Services available

Menopause & Perimenopause Management

Hormonal shifts in midlife can impact every area of wellbeing — from physical symptoms like hot flushes and poor sleep, to changes in mood, energy, and memory. I offer compassionate, up-to-date support tailored to your needs and preferences.

Lifestyle & Weight Management in Midlife

Hormones aren’t the only part of the picture — I also support you with:

• Weight changes linked to perimenopause or menopause

• Midlife metabolism shifts

• Healthy ageing, nutrition & exercise plans

• Prescribing evidence-based weight loss medications, when appropriate

• Guidance for managing insulin resistance, PCOS, or thyroid concerns

ADHD in Women

Many women first notice ADHD symptoms emerging or worsening during perimenopause due to hormonal fluctuations.

I do not offer diagnostic ADHD assessments, but I work with patients following diagnosis to provide:

• ADHD medication management (including stimulant and non-stimulant options)

• Hormone-aware strategies for ADHD in perimenopause and menopause

• Lifestyle and wellbeing support

• A safe space where you feel heard, validated, and supported

Whether you’re newly diagnosed or have been living with ADHD for years, I’m here to support you through the next chapter.
